Cliff Top Club Chamoli, Auli

Located in Chamoli, at an elevation of 10,000 feet above the sea level, Cliff Top Club is the second highest situated resort on the Earth. This 3-star property is the only resort in Asia's that is situated on the ski slope. It was host to the National Winter Games and will also organise SAF Winter Games in the next year. The resort is the winner of the Gold Crown Award and Resort of International Distinction Award, which speak for its reputation in the hospitality industry. /n/nThe resort houses 22 Studio Rooms, 18 Luxury Suites and two Luxury Family Suites. All rooms have sofa-cum-bed, television and heat radiator. A kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave and a hob with four burners is also available in each room. There is an in-house store, from where guests can buy vegetables and other required items to cook food. /n/nCliff Top Club offers necessary equipment to guests looking to indulge in hiking, skiing and trekking. Apart from enjoying these adventurous sports, guests can go for a nature walk or plan a sightseeing tour. There is a multi-cuisine restaurant, Al-Fresco Restaurant, wherein guests can enjoy a variety of mouth-watering delicacies. A coffee shop is also there for guests looking to lounge in a lively ambience.Note - Make sure you reach Joshimath before 4.00 pm. As last cable car from Joshimath to Auli is at 4.00 pm. If you miss it you will have to stay back in Joshimath . Resort cannot provide any alternate route or accommodation. Once you reach Joshimath you can take cable car and get down at tower no 8 . From Tower 8 to our resort it is 200 meter. The cable car is operational only up to 4:20 pm in winters hence it is advisable to reach the cable car parking at Joshimath by 4 pm to avoid being stranded at Joshimath. Charges for the return trip of the cable car are Rs 750/- per person, valid for 1 week. Those opting to drive up to Auli in their own vehicles can only reach Clifftop Club in summers. In winters, the only option is to avail the cable car from Joshimath. Parking can be availed at Joshimath as well as at GMVN from where the chair lift operates to take people to tower no. 8 where Clifftop Club is located. The chair lift charges are Rs 350/- for a return trip. guest have to reach Joshimath between mentioning timing at last we will not responsible for any other delays.
