When is the New Year break in the UAE in 2027?
New Year’s Day falls on Friday 1 January 2027 and is a paid public holiday across the UAE for both the public and private sectors. With Saturday and Sunday following it, the holiday runs straight into a three-day weekend.
Every package on this page departs on Wednesday 30 December 2026 and returns on Sunday 3 January 2027. That means two days of annual leave — Wednesday and Thursday — buy a five-day holiday that covers both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day abroad.
