Jodhpur Airport is a civil enclave airport in Rajasthan and it shares its airside with Jodhpur Air Base of the Indian Air Force. The airport is located about 3 kilometers from the main city.

The Jodhpur Flying Club was set up in the 1920s by Maharaja Umaid Singh in a small airfield close to his Chittar Palace. Over the next 30 years, it grew and was even used as an airfield for the Royal Air Force in the Second World War.

The airfield was upgraded in 1950 and was home to the IAF Flying College until 1965.
